“Many thanks for an incredible job. The food impressed our foodie friends. Your staff was complimented several times by our guests. We will speak nothing but accolades of CarteWheels to our friends in Fredericksburg.”

Fondly,

James and Kara

“We just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for doing such a wonderful job with our wedding reception. When we first began looking for caterers, you came highly recommended from everyone we asked. Now that the wedding has come and gone, we’ll always remember your beautiful and creative set-up, wonderful food, and attentive staff. You had a lot to do with making the day very special and memorable. It was a pleasure to work with you throughout the process of planning the menu and making all the arrangements, and we couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out. If you ever need a recommendation, please don’t hesitate to call us; if we plan another event in the Hill Country, we sure won’t hesitate to call you! Thank you again for a wonderful day.”

Sincerely,

Sharron and Bryan Stone

Superlative just isn’t special enough to describe the job that you and your staff did for my parents’ 60th anniversary luncheon! We knew you did fabulous work from years past (ahem, NINE that is, since my 50th surprise up at the Camp Ranch!), but the April 19th luncheon far exceeded our already-high expectations!! The food, presentation, and service were all outstanding! Everybody we’ve talked to has absolutely raved about every aspect of the party!

Steve, Kelly, Bettina and–short memory, here–the young guy also serving, ALL did such a super job…….and you’re so perfect in orchestrating everything to flow smoothly and make the whole thing happen, not to mention being the world’s best chef! All my cousins from “the BIG cities” of Houston and San Antonio, were SO impressed with your work because, unlike us country mice, they are always going to catered parties so have lots of comparisons to draw on! That night at my parents’ when we all gathered, they were all in awe about everything and there was much discussion of, especially, the mango gazpacho! And the hors d’oeurves! I missed those because I had so many butterflies at that point that I just couldn’t eat! But I made up for it with the luncheon, and David definitely got my shares of the hors d’oeurves because he raved and raved about them!

That cake was SO beautiful and absolutely delicious! I was more concerned about its appearance and what it represented, figuring a white cake is a white cake is a white cake…….boy, was I mistaken! That’s the best cake any of us had ever eaten! There was much discussion about almond/marzipan, etc. and what role it played in the cake! Truly, the entire luncheon was “dissected” over dinner that night with all concluding every morsel was fabulous!

David and I got to have the “leftovers” two nights later, and everything was still equally good! That mint chutney was so perfect with the lamb, and ALL the lamb was done to perfection. I was surprised, too, given the group that everybody liked the tuna, but, as you assured me, you knew the group you were preparing it for and it wasn’t sashimi!

You so obviously know everything there IS to know about your business and are the consummate professional in all respects! Thank you SO much for applying all that knowledge, experience and just plain niceness to making my parents’ 60th anniversary a wonderfully memorable occasion!!

Sincerely,

Kathy Casper and David Lackey
